Important Coaching Considerations

1. 3-Month Minimum — Strongly Recommended 6 Months Total

Three months is the minimum required to reach peak-season conditioning. Some athletes may require 16-20 weeks.
However, the post-peak phase is equally critical.
For this reason, an additional 3 months of coaching is strongly encouraged to protect your mental, spiritual, and physical health.

Extreme leanness is not a sustainable state, and exiting incorrectly can lead to:

  • Binge-restrict cycles

  • Hormonal dysfunction

  • Depression or emotional instability

  • Body dysmorphia

  • Severe fatigue

The exit phase is the most important part of elite conditioning — and where most athletes fall apart without support.

2. Required Exit Strategy (Reverse Dieting)

After peak season, you will receive a structured exit plan to:

  • Increase calories safely

  • Restore energy and mood

  • Improve hormonal balance

  • Rebuild hunger cues

  • Protect mental health

  • Prevent rebound weight gain

  • Support spiritual and emotional grounding (if desired)

This period is often more psychologically challenging than the prep itself — which is why continued coaching is highly recommended.

3. Ethical Coaching Boundary

If at any time I determine that the deficit, training volume, or psychological strain is becoming unsafe, I will recommend adjustments or backing off entirely.
Not everyone is suited for peak-level leanness — and this is not a failure.
My responsibility is your wellbeing.

4. Medical Collaboration Required

Due to the physiological and psychological demands of peak conditioning, you must work closely with your healthcare provider.

5. Off-Season Coaching

At the end of peak + exit phase, we will determine what level of support you need going forward to maintain a balanced, healthy off-season.

This is essential for:

  • stabilizing mood

  • preventing rebound gain

  • balancing hormones

  • regulating appetite

  • maintaining dignity + identity after peak mode

  • avoiding extremes
